This is a very intense picture, and this critique will be based mostly as a photograph and less as a Cosplay as I have no experience as a comic book /anime /cartoon character. As a photograph, this is a nice picture technically, filling the frame properly, no outside distractions, poor backgrounds or imbalances. Given the theme of Catwoman, a thief in the night, the feeling of midnight and street lamps lighting her is very good. Of the Cosplay art I have seen, many are beautiful models, the costumes are interesting, but the single thing that brings one of these photos to my attention is the production of a great photo. It's nice to see a costume but it really takes away from the photo when it's taken in the driveway or the living room. This work has the production work put in to show a stronger effort to make a great photograph. This work shows other Cosplay fans that with a simple background and lighting techniques, you can make a very good photo in the theme of your character. As a Batman fan and especially of Darwin Cooke's Catwoman work, this is a great portrayal . As a photographer, this is a strong piece of work. The photographer should be proud to produce this quality image and the subject should be happy she was reflected in such a great way. Bravo.
